Welcome to Kennel Red-Deego’s homepage! Right now you’re the guest of us two sisters, Irina and Kirsikka, and we hope that this site is both entertaining and informative to you. Our dogs live as family-members in a home environment, and we do our best to give them a happy life. As a breeder our fundamental goal is to produce healthy, long-living dogs with a nice temperament, for loving homes. In other words, it is the well-being of a dog and his owner which is most important to us, not triumphs in shows or the number of Champions. We believe that our breeding philosophy that appreciates every dog as a unique individual will yield the most valuable and lasting results. Dog shows have been our hobby since the turn of the 1990’s, and our first shih tzu litter saw the light of day in 2001. We’ve been breeding short-haired Chihuahuas since the year 2005. Moreover, we have two King Charles Spaniel males and, as a watch dog, an American Akita. In a certain sense we observe tendencies of the dog culture in the forefront as we have our own pet supply shops in Lahti and Riihimäki. We spend the most of our spare time with our dogs in Pakaa, a village that belongs to the town of Orimattila, whenever we are not in dog shows. Naturally, the availability of our puppies varies. The best way to learn about the situation at a given time is to call or email us directly.
